OCG vs TCG — the crucial difference
This trips up every new importer. The OCG (Official Card Game) is the version played in Japan and parts of Asia; the TCG (Trading Card Game) is the Western version. They are effectively different games: different card backs, different card pools and release schedules, and separate banlists. Crucially, OCG cards are normally not legal in TCG tournaments.
